To use the Superside Brand Models plugin, you need edit access in your Figma or FigJam file.
Use the Superside Brand Models Figma plugin to generate new images or edit existing ones in Figma and FigJam. You can use your brand models or work without them.
Before you begin, make sure the plugin is set up. For setup instructions, see Set up the Superside Brand Models Figma plugin.
Generate images with brand models
From the actions menu in your Figma or Figjam file, open the Superside Brand Models plugin.
(Optional) To start a new session, select New Session at the top of the sidebar.
Enter a prompt that describes the image you want to generate.
Include details such as style, background, characters and references.
To use a brand model, mention it in the prompt with @.
(Optional) To change the image's aspect ratio, select Aspect ratio in the lower-left corner.
Select Generate.
After the image is generated, you can refine it with another prompt.
Edit an existing image with brand models
From the actions menu in your Figma or Figjam file, open the Superside Brand Models plugin.
(Optional) To start a new session, select New Session at the top of the sidebar.
Select the image you want to edit in your Figma or Figjam file—you can add up to five images.
To use an entire frame, right-click the frame and select Copy as PNG. Paste it into the file, then select the newly created PNG. To edit multiple images at the same time, repeat these steps for each image.
At the bottom of the plugin’s prompt box, select Add image.
To add the image to the prompt, mention it with @.
Enter a prompt that describes the changes you want to make.
Include details such as style, background, characters, and references.
To use a brand model, mention it in the prompt with @.
(Optional) To change the image's aspect ratio, select Aspect ratio in the lower-left corner.
Select Generate.
After the image is generated, you can refine it with another prompt.
Edit images without brand models
You can also use the plugin without selecting any brand model.
From the actions menu in your Figma or Figjam file, open the Superside Brand Models plugin.
(Optional) To start a new session, select New Session at the top of the sidebar.
Select the image you want to edit in your Figma or Figjam file.
At the bottom of the plugin’s prompt box, select Add image.
To add the image to the prompt, mention it with @.
Enter a prompt that describes the image you want to generate or the changes you want to make.
After the image is generated, you can refine it with another prompt.
Additional considerations
You can use up to three brand models in one prompt.
You can combine brand models to mix styles, backgrounds, and characters.
Troubleshooting
If only one component of a frame is added to the prompt, convert the frame to a PNG first.
Limitations
At the moment, you can run only one session at a time.
