Create a team

Learn how to create and manage teams in Superspace to keep creative work organized, aligned, and on budget.

Updated this week

Teams in Superspace allow you to group the people working together on creative projects so they can easily collaborate, track their work, and share feedback in one place. By organizing collaborators into teams, you can keep everyone aligned on goals, ensure timely review and approval of assets, and manage budgets across your projects.

Only admins can create and manage teams.

To create a team, follow these steps:

  1. In your Superspace account, go to Teams.

  2. At the top of the page, select + Create new team.

  3. Fill in the Team Name field. Use a clear and memorable name, as it will be used across Superspace. The new team will also be assigned a color for easy identification.

  4. (Optional) Select Add a description if you want to add a team description.

  5. In the Members section, you have two options:

    1. Select existing members from the list.

    2. Invite new members to the team and your Superspace account. To do so, enter their email address in the search bar, select a task for the new user, and select Invite.

Note: Users can belong to multiple teams and be removed if needed.

  6. (Optional) In the Team budget section, select Enable budget for this team. Setting a budget will allocate a portion of your total budget to this team each month and make it easy to track usage. For more info on how to monitor subscription usage, see Review your subscription usage.

    1. If you select this option, fill in the Budget amount field. The specified amount is deducted from the total available budget in the main account.

  7. Select Create team.

You’re redirected to the Teams page, where you can see an overview of your teams, your used budget, and your total available balance. You can filter this view by:

  • All teams

  • My teams

  • Other teams
