Why don't my Superads numbers match Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads?

Learn why your Superads numbers can differ from Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads, and the steps to check when a gap needs fixing.

Written by Maria Fernandez

It's normal for your numbers in Superads to differ slightly from what you see in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads. Here's why, and when a gap actually means something's wrong.

Most common causes

Cause

What's happening

Sync delay

Superads pulls data every 24 hours, not live. A number that updates in Ads Manager may take up to a day to show up in Superads.

Attribution window mismatch

Ads Manager lets you view results under different attribution windows, like 7-day click or 1-day click. Superads shows your data based on your ad set's attribution setting instead.

Aggregation level

Ads Manager can roll up numbers by campaign, ad set or ad. If you're comparing a Superads report grouped by Ad Name against an Ads Manager view grouped by campaign, the totals won't match: they're answering different questions.

To validate your Superads numbers, compare like for like: same date range and same level of aggregation (ad vs. ad set vs. campaign). Exclude any date that hasn't fully synced yet.

When the gap is a real problem

If you're seeing a large gap, work through these steps to narrow it down:

  1. Check the sync status. Go to Settings > Data Sources and confirm the account shows as synced, not pending or errored.

  2. Match the date range and time zone exactly. Set both reports to the same explicit date range and confirm the time zone setting in each tool.

  3. Confirm you're not including a date that hasn't finished syncing yet, like today.

  4. Contact support if it's still off. Reach us through the in-app chat in Superspace, with your workspace name, ad account and the specific numbers you're comparing.
