Your project plan

The Project plan tab brings your latest brief, timeline, estimate, and version history into one place so you can easily track changes over time.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Project plan tab combines your project brief, timeline, and estimate into one up-to-date view. It also shows how the plan has changed over time, helping you track progress and understand how the project has evolved since you submitted your brief.

The Project plan tab replaces the Overview tab for projects submitted on or after February 26, 2026.

Your project plan includes the following sections:

  • Project summary. A summary of your project details and the settings selected during submission.

  • Timeline. An up-to-date overview of the project timeline and milestones.

  • Estimate. The estimated cost of the project. It includes design, creative direction, project management time, and two rounds of revisions.

  • Project brief. An up-to-date version of your project brief, and the option to review the original request.

  • Resources. The project resources added as reference.

All these sections always reflect the most recent details about your project.

Approve your project plan

If you choose to approve the estimate before work starts when submitting a brief, you’ll need to approve the project plan before the Superside team can begin.

To approve your project plan

  1. Wait for the project plan. After your Project Manager (PM) reviews your brief, they’ll share a project plan with a detailed breakdown of scope, creative direction, timeline, and estimated cost. You’ll receive a notification in Superspace and by email when it’s ready.

  2. Open the proposed plan from the Project plan tab or the Messages tab.

  3. Approve or reject the plan:

    1. To approve it, select Yes, approve project plan.

    2. To reject it, go to the Messages tab, select No, and send your PM feedback. Your PM will review it and share an updated proposal.

Note that not all projects require approval. If you select Skip estimate approval when submitting your brief, your Superside team can start work right away. You can still review the PM’s plan anytime from the Project plan tab.

Keep track of your project

Use the Project plan tab to monitor project updates and progress—like additional deliverables, scope changes, or timeline adjustments. As the project moves forward, any updates automatically appear in the timeline, estimate, and brief details.

You can also review earlier versions of the project plan to see what changed over time and quickly understand how the project has evolved.

To access past versions

  • In the upper-right corner, next to the project plan version, select See version history.
