Your project brief helps Superside understand what you need, why it matters and how best to deliver it. Inside Superspace, it’s the first step to begin any creative project. This article walks you through how to create your briefs with Brand Brain.

If you’re a light user, your project will need admin approval. For more information about Superspace roles and permissions, see Superspace user roles.

When you create a new brief, Brand Brain pulls in relevant context from your brand guidelines and past projects, using your saved brand memories to fill any gaps, so you can complete the brief faster.

To submit a brief with Brand Brain, follow these steps:

  1. In your Home page, select the prompt box to start your brief.

Note: You can also start a brief from every page, from your sidebar: select + Create > Project brief.

  2. Describe what you need for your project.

    1. To add brand assets, past projects or additional files to use as reference, select + Context.

    2. To add team members to the project, type or select @, and then type their name.

Brand Brain uses your brand context to fill in the details and generates a first draft of the brief.

  3. To edit the proposed draft, select Edit brief.

  4. (Optional) To share the brief with teammates and edit together in real time, select Share.

    1. Select the team members you want to invite to edit the brief, and then select Confirm.

  5. Fill any gaps, confirm requirements and adjust the details for this project.

  6. When everything looks right, select Submit project brief.

You’re redirected to the Project plan page, where you can track the status of the project.

Next Steps

  • Your Project Manager (PM) will review your project request, confirm the details and follow up with any questions so you’re fully aligned.

  • Your Superside team will prepare a project plan with a detailed breakdown of scope, creative direction, estimated cost and timeline based on your requested delivery date, so you'll know exactly what is happening and when.
