Your project brief helps Superside understand what you need, why it matters, and how best to deliver it. Inside Superspace, it’s the first step to begin any creative project. This article walks you through how to create and submit your briefs.
If you’re a light user, your project will need admin approval. For more information about Superspace roles and permissions, see Superspace user roles.
To submit your brief and start working on a new project, you need to follow these steps:
Create a new project and start your brief
In your Superspace Home page, select Create new project.
Select the services you’re interested in for your project, and then select Start brief.
Enter a name for your project and select how Superside can help, from creating something new to editing or refining existing content. If you’re unsure which category to choose, message your Project Manager (PM), and they'll recommend the best option to move forward.
Add your project goals and requirements
In the next section, provide as many details as possible about your project. A thorough brief helps your team understand your goals, plan realistic timelines, and deliver what you need faster.
In the Allow AI usage section, select or clear the Yes, please use AI as appropriate in asset creation and development toggle.
For more details on how Superside integrates AI, see AI on Superside projects.(Optional) In the Team section, select which team this project should be allocated to. This selection will help make sure you’re using funds for the correct team and budget. If you don’t select any team, it will be assigned to the main account.
Note that if you don’t select a team at this stage, you won’t be able to assign one later—your PM or Customer Success Manager (CSM) will need to do it.
Select a delivery date and submit your brief
In the Delivery section, fill in the following fields:
Final deadline. Select when you expect to have all assets ready to use.
Skip estimate approval. If you decide to skip the estimate approval, the Superside team can start working right away, and your PM will share the estimate later. If you clear this checkbox, the team won’t start working on the project until you approve the proposed quote.
Note: For your first projects, we recommend clearing this checkbox to ensure alignment before the creative work starts.Kickoff call. Select this checkbox if you’d like a call with your PM to kick off the project.
Select Review and submit.
Review the brief summary, and if everything looks correct, submit your brief.
(Optional) In the confirmation window that opens, enter the email addresses of any team members you want to invite to the project, and then select Confirm. You can also invite additional people to the project later.
You’re redirected to the project Messages page, where you can track the status of the project and chat with your PM.
Next Steps
Your PM will review your project request, confirm the details, and follow up with any questions so you’re fully aligned.
Your Superside team will prepare a quote for your approval before any work begins, ensuring everything is clear and agreed up front.
Your PM will share a proposed timeline based on your requested delivery date, so you'll know exactly what is happening and when.
